Richard Piersall

Richard Piersall is an experienced engineer specializing in embedded avionics, currently serving as Lead Embedded Avionics Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, since May 2017. Prior roles include Embedded Software Consultant at MedCrypt for a brief period in early 2017, and Hardware Engineer at Gimbal, Inc., where Richard developed firmware for Bluetooth beacons and created software tools for firmware development. Richard also contributed to research on electromagnetic shielding effectiveness as a Project Magneto Clinic Researcher during the senior year at Harvey Mudd College, where a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering was earned. Additional experience includes an internship at Apple, focusing on debugging and validating prototype hardware, along with responsibilities as Head Shop Proctor at Harvey Mudd College's machine shop.
