Amanda Belo

Amanda Belo has a diverse work experience history. Amanda is currently working as a Senior Writer and Editor at MillerKnoll since June 2023. Previously, they held the position of Writer and Editor at MillerKnoll from November 2022 to June 2023. Prior to that, Amanda worked as a Writer and Editor at Herman Miller from November 2020 to November 2022.

Before joining MillerKnoll, Amanda worked at Guilford Technical Community College as an English Second Language Instructor from June 2017 to May 2020. Amanda also worked as a Content Writer at Glen Raven from April 2019 to April 2020.

In terms of marketing and content creation, Amanda worked at Market America, Inc. from June 2017 to March 2019. During their time there, they served as a Marketing Content Writer for Market America/Shop.com, creating and editing content for various product categories. Amanda also contributed to the blog TLSSlim.com and created content for white papers, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, digital ads, flyers, and brochures.

Prior to that, Amanda worked as a Kids & Teens Teacher at EF Education First from August 2015 to June 2016. Amanda also gained experience as a Media Researcher and Staff Writer at Cision, where they worked from August 2010 to July 2015. Additionally, Amanda worked as a Public Relations Intern at Margie Korshak, Inc. in 2010 and as a Media Research Intern at Cision from January 2010 to April 2010.

Earlier in their career, Amanda worked as a Marketing Assistant at River North Dance Chicago in January 2010 and as a Development and Content Assistant at AUDIENCE ARCHITECTS NFP from October 2009 to December 2009.

Amanda Belo began their education journey in 2003 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance in 2007. In 2006, they undertook a study abroad program at The Manchester Metropolitan University, focusing on Dance.

Amanda continued their education at DePaul University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained their Master of Arts degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.

Amanda Belo has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they earned a TEFL Professional Certificate from the TEFL Institute. In 2015, they acquired a TKT Young Learners certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment. Later, in 2019, they obtained a Teacher Of Adult Education certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the North Carolina Community College System. Most recently, in 2020, they obtained a certification in Fundraising Essentials from NonprofitReady.
