Ben Groom

Ben Groom has extensive work experience in various leadership and strategic roles. Ben currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at MillerKnoll, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at MillerKnoll from July 2021 to January 2023.

In 2022, Ben became a Board Member at The Digital Stronghold, a multi-brand platform supporting men's apparel and grooming brands. Ben continues to hold this position.

From 2019 to 2021, Ben was the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Herman Miller, a company specializing in office furniture and equipment.

Before joining Herman Miller, Ben worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where they held various roles including Principal from 2018 to 2019, Project Leader from 2016 to 2017, Consultant from 2014 to 2016, and Senior Associate from 2013 to 2014.

In 2016, Ben joined NY Writers Coalition as a Board Member, a non-profit organization that provides creative writing workshops in New York City. Ben held this position until 2018.

Ben also has experience in the sports industry, having worked as the General Manager - Strategy at Melbourne Football Club from 2011 to 2013.

Their career began at The Boston Consulting Group as an Associate from 2009 to 2011.

Furthermore, Ben served as the Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations in 2007-2008.

Ben Groom's education history includes attending Cornell University where they obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree. Ben also attended the University of Tasmania, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) degree as well as a Bachelor of Economics degree. Prior to their university education, they attended The Hutchins School.
