Chris Shier P.eng

Chris Shier P.Eng has a vast and extensive work experience in the engineering industry. Chris began their career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Canada Wire and Cable in 1982 and worked there until 1984. Chris then joined Holland Hitch Company as an Engineering Manager in 1984 and stayed with the company until 1990. In 1990, they joined Herman Miller as a Senior HMPS Operations Manager and later became the Director of Global HMPS. Chris worked at Herman Miller until 2021. In the same year, they also joined MillerKnoll as the Director of Global Operations Continuous Improvement.

Chris Shier P.Eng completed a Bachelor of Engineering Science (BESc) in Mechanical Engineering from Western University between 1978 and 1982. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management at Grand Valley State University, from 1996 to 1999.
