Tim Shay

Tim Shay, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Advanced Material Engineer at Milwaukee Tool since May 2022. Prior to this role, Tim Shay was the Lead Chemist at Brady Corporation from November 2017 to May 2022, focusing on new product developments in inkjet materials within the R&D department. Tim Shay's earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Chemist/Engineer at North Carolina State University, where research centered on developing non-invasive bio-monitoring devices, and a Graduate Student in the NSF ASSIST center. Additional roles include Student Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, conducting wavelet analysis in Dr. Michael Graham's lab, an Engineering Co-op at Kimberly-Clark, and an intern at Andersen. Tim Shay holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
