Erika Tucker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in entomology and community engagement. Currently serving as the Community Engagement Projects Manager and Digitization Taxonomy Manager at Milwaukee Public Museum since October 2021, Erika also contributes as a Research Associate for Biodiversity Outreach Network. Erika's role as an Entomologist for Bug News commenced in June 2021. Prior experience includes positions as Insect Collection Manager and Assistant Research Scientist at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts from June 2018 to August 2021, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of New Hampshire from June 2015 to May 2018. Erika holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Entomology from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland, complemented by an Associate of Arts from Anne Arundel Community College.
