Job Komen

Job Komen is a Business Development Manager at MIMETAS since September 2022. Previously, Job Komen completed a PhD at Universiteit Twente, focusing on cancer xenograft model improvements through dynamic, in vivo-like drug concentrations on-chip, from June 2019 to August 2022. Job Komen's career includes roles as an Investment Manager and Associate at Gilde Healthcare from April 2015 to March 2019, and as a Consultant and Associate at The Boston Consulting Group from November 2010 to October 2014. A background in project management was gained at DEMCON, where Job Komen developed a robotic device for endoscope control from November 2012 to August 2013. Prior research as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School involved microfluidic devices for detecting circulating tumor cells in cancer, from September 2009 to September 2010. Job Komen holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Organ-on-a-chip from the University of Twente and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Groningen, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same institution.
