Tara Callow

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Mindbloom

Tara Callow has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tara has served as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Mindbloom since 2023. Prior to this, they were an adjunct faculty instructor and clinical facilitator at the University of Cape Town from 2017 to 2022. Tara has also served as a registered nurse at New York University from 2020 to 2022 and as a pediatric nurse practitioner-telehealth at BabyLiveAdvice, INC from 2018 to 2020. Tara has provided care to pediatric patients with complex chronic medical conditions at Fastaff Travel Nursing and was a registered nurse-neonatal intensive care level-III at Aya Healthcare. Tara was also director of clinical services at Heal and managed clinical operations at various locations in CA. Tara'sexperience includes working as a pediatric nurse practitioner and IBCLC at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and serving as a registered nurse-neonatal intensive care level-III at Mount Sinai Health System. Lastly, they were a pediatric nurse practitioner-private practice at Tribeca Pediatrics from 2016 to 2017.

Tara Callow pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Biology from the University at Albany, SUNY between 2001 and 2006. Tara then attended DeSales University, where they completed their BSN in Nursing from 2006 to 2007. Later, they enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned their Master of Science in Nursing from the Pediatric Acute/Chronic Nurse Practitioner Program between 2010 and 2011. Most recently, in 2020-21, Tara Callow received a post-graduate certificate in Primary Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Wilkes University.
