Bruce Tomlinson, CFA, GAICD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Bruce is currently the Investment Director at Minderoo Foundation, where they played a significant role in restructuring the Corpus, implementing a governance refresh, and overhauling the Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA). Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Australian Retirement Trust, focusing on direct investments in mid-risk real assets.

Additionally, Bruce has worked at S&P Global Ratings as a Quantitative Research Manager, where they conducted research on managed funds and performed performance measurement and attribution analysis. Bruce started their career at State Street as a Performance Analyst, where they specialized in multi-manager performance measurement and attribution analysis.

Bruce Tomlinson, CFA, GAICD has a diverse education history. Bruce received a BArch degree in Architecture from The University of Western Australia in 1988. Prior to that, they attended Wesley College in Perth, Western Australia from 1971 to 1982. Bruce then pursued an MBA in Finance and Real Estate at The Ohio State University from 1989 to 1991. In 2005 to 2006, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from Macquarie Business School. Most recently, in 2020, Bruce completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Bruce also holds additional certifications including Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) obtained in 1994 and a CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing, which will be obtained in 2023.
