Jason Dictenberg

Dr. Dictenberg is a scientist, innovator, investor and entrepreneur, and a global figure in molecular neuroscience and RNA biology, and has more than 20 years operating experience in biotechnology and academia. Prior to founding Evergreen and AccelBio, he led programs focused on translational medicine in CNS/neurobiology and oncology, using molecular techniques based in RNA biology.

Recently, Dr. Dictenberg created The Goliath Platform for AccelBio, the world's fastest high-throughput PCR-based SARS-CoV-2 testing system that is automated by sophisticated liquid-handling robotics and processes over 8,000 tests within 24 hours with minimal human input. This platform technology was created for the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Bahrain in March 2020 in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. As of February 2022 the platform is approaching 10Million individual PCR tests since inception.

Dr. Dictenberg is the author of numerous patents for novel research and commercial products in biopharma and agriculture, and over 50 research publications. Dr. Dictenberg has been a Professor at medical centers worldwide, including Albert Einstein College of Medicine, City University, Scripps Research Institute, SUNY-Downstate, and The Weizmann Institute. Dr. Dictenberg serves on the Board of several Foundations and Biotechnology Corporations. He is the recipient of the Albert Einstein Scholar award and the Young Investigator Award of the International Society of Developmental Neuroscience.
