David Clifford

David Clifford is currently the Head of Science & Data Science at Mineral.ai, an Alphabet company focused on making the world's food system more sustainable. Prior to their current role, David served as the Science Lead on Mineral at X, the moonshot factory. David has a strong background in data science, statistics, and mathematics, with experience in leading research teams and projects in various organizations such as Metromile, The Climate Corporation, and CSIRO. David holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Chicago, among other degrees from institutions such as University College Cork and University of California, Berkeley.
