Amanda Batista has over 13 years of professional experience in the international education and marketing spaces. Amanda began their career in 2007 as a Marketing Intern at DoSomething.org. In 2010, they joined the National Geographic Channel as a Sales Assistant and later as Interim Director of Ad Sales Marketing. From 2012-2013, they were a International Program Coordinator and International House Lead at The College of New Jersey, and a Dean of Students and Student Development Intern at Harlaxton College in England. From 2014-2016, they were a Communications Officer and Educational Advisor at the US-UK Fulbright Commission, and a Program Officer at ISEP Study Abroad. In 2017, they became an Assistant Director of International Alumni Clubs at Columbia University in the City of New York and a Business Development Manager at STA Travel. In 2021, they joined Minerva Project as a Marketing Manager.
Amanda Batista has an extensive educational background. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology and Education from Vassar College. Amanda then attended Dartmouth College as an exchange student. After that, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Intercultural Service, Leadership, & Management and International Education from the School for International Training. Additionally, they hold a Certificate in Educating Global Citizens from Harvard University Graduate School of Education and an EdTech in International Education from Gateway International Group, LLC.
