Sean Hughes has worked for a variety of organizations since 2008. Sean began their career as a PhD Student at NUI Maynooth and subsequently worked as a Government of Ireland Post Doctoral Fellow at the National University of Ireland Maynooth from 2013-2014. Sean then moved to Ghent University, where they first worked as a Post Doctoral Researcher from 2013-2017, and then as an Assistant Professor from 2014-2019. In 2017, they also worked as a Visiting Scientist at Harvard University. In 2019, they moved to Cornell University, where they worked as a Visiting Scientist until 2021. Most recently, they began working as a Professor of Psychology at Minerva University in 2021, and is currently an Academic Program Manager at Minerva Project since 2022.
Sean Hughes completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Psychology from Maynooth University in 2012. In 2017, they were a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University in Psychology. In 2019, they were a Visiting Scholar at Cornell University in Psychology.
