Guillermo Jose Aramendia Zabaleta

Senior Radio Frequency Engineer at Mini-Circuits

Guillermo Jose Aramendia Zabaleta has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Radio Frequency (RF) engineering. Guillermo Jose began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Ceit-IK4 from June 2012 to May 2014. During this time, they contributed to research projects and gained valuable experience in the field.

Guillermo Jose then joined the University of Nevada, Reno as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2014 to May 2016. In this role, they provided assistance in teaching circuits and electromagnetic compatibility courses, including conducting laboratory sessions and grading assignments.

After that, Guillermo worked as a Summer Intern at the IT'IS Foundation from May 2016 to August 2016, where they gained practical experience in RF engineering.

Their next position was at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant from August 2016 to October 2017. As a researcher in electromagnetism, their responsibilities included performing Fourier Transform of high-intensity nanosecond pulses, modeling non-linearities caused by these pulses, and designing endoplasmic reticulum using Solidworks.

From October 2018 to February 2021, Guillermo joined Emhiser Research Inc as an RF Engineer. In this role, they were involved in VCO (Voltage-controlled oscillator) design, manufacture, and testing. Guillermo Jose used various tools and equipment including Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Source Analyzers. Guillermo Jose also contributed to the improvement of the testing process by updating the test bench and making changes in Labview programs.

Guillermo Jose then worked at Space Micro Inc. as a Radio Frequency Engineer from March 2021 to October 2021. In this position, they were responsible for designing and testing Ka Band upconverter for space missions. Guillermo Jose used tools such as PADs/OrCAD for board development and CST Studio Suite for simulation purposes.

Currently, Guillermo is working at Mini-Circuits as a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer, starting from November 2021.

Guillermo Jose Aramendia Zabaleta completed their education in the field of engineering. Guillermo Jose began their education in 2010 at the University of Navarra, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Communications Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications Engineering. Guillermo Jose attended this institution until 2014.

Subsequently, Guillermo attended the University of Nevada, Reno from 2014 to 2016, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electromagnetism.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Guillermo obtained the certification of Engineer Intern from the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in November 2015.
