Mark Hetherington

Senior Advanced Programmer at Miniclip

Mark Hetherington has a strong background in game development and programming. Mark has over 27 years of experience in the industry. Mark started their career at Eurocom Developments Ltd in 1994, initially working as a Producer but also taking on game programming and IT support tasks. Mark worked on various original, licensed, and arcade port projects for PC and consoles. Over time, Mark transitioned to working more on the engine side of games and was involved in porting Eurocom's original engine technology to support platforms such as Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, and Wii. In 2013, Mark joined EightPixelsSquare as a Programmer and worked there until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Advanced Programmer at Miniclip since March 2021.

Mark Hetherington completed their education starting from 1987 to 1990, at South East Derbyshire College, where they pursued a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance. Following this, from 1990 to 1993, they attended Loughborough University, where they obtained a Bsc(Hons) degree in Computing.
