David Jaramillo is an experienced professional in economics and policy management, currently serving as the Undersecretariat of Macroeconomic Management at the Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas since February 2024. With a diverse background, Jaramillo has held key positions such as National Programme Officer at the International Labour Organization from May 2020 to January 2024 and Economic Consultant at CAF - banco de desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe from April 2019 to April 2020. Previous roles include Director of Crime Prevention for the Minister of Homeland Security in Ecuador and Undersecretary of Analysis, Prospective and Evaluation at the Secretariat on Drug Prevention Policies.
