Moana John Eruera

Moana John Eruera is an experienced professional with a diverse background in policy advising, organizational development, and strategic relationships. Currently serving as a Principal Adviser at the Ministry for Primary Industries since August 2019, Moana has held various managerial roles focused on forest and wood engagement. Previous positions include Chairperson at Impact Open Source Software Trust and Senior Policy Adviser roles within the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Justice. Moana's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure as a Senior Human Rights Adviser at the New Zealand Human Rights Commission and an Organizational Development Adviser at Wellington City Council. An educator in human resource management at Massey University, Moana holds two master's degrees focused on business studies and human resources management.
