Ching Yee Tan is an accomplished public servant in Singapore, currently serving as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance since May 2016 and as Chairman of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore. Ching Yee Tan has a significant role as Singapore’s Sherpa and Finance Deputy at G20 meetings. Additional positions include Board Member at Changi Airport Group and former Chairman at ACRA. Prior experience includes Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Chairman at MOH Holdings Pte Ltd, representing the Ministry on various health boards. Ching Yee Tan's earlier roles also encompass Chairman of the National Institute of Education and member of the Board of Trustees at Nanyang Technological University, along with a tenure as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education. An earlier role as Chief Executive of the Infocomm Development Authority was complemented by a Deputy Secretary position at the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts. Ching Yee Tan holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from Stanford University.
