Birgitte Krohn currently serves as the Sector Counsellor for the Cities Programme at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs since May 2024. Prior to this role, Birgitte worked as Head of Section at Økonomiforvaltningen in Københavns Kommune and held various positions at C40 Cities, including Senior Manager of Strategic Planning and Coordination and Project Manager for the Cities Race to Zero initiative. Birgitte has also been a Project Assistant at CONCITO and Ramboll Management Consulting, a Researcher at Animal Ventures, and Head Coordinator for the Aarhus Case Competition. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Political Science from Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University and an exchange Master's degree from the University of Mannheim, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Social Science with a minor in Organizational Development from Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University.
