Gohar Hovsepyan

Gohar Hovsepyan currently serves as a 3-rd Secretary and Consul at the Embassy of Armenia to Belgium, having commenced this role in October 2023. Gohar has been involved with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia since November 2020, working as the Canada Desk Officer in the USA and Canada Division. Previous experience includes a position as a remote researcher at Grassroot Diplomat and functioning as an expert in the Visa Division of the Consular Department within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 2018 to September 2020. Gohar also served as an assistant to the consul at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the United States from March 2019 to January 2020. In terms of education, Gohar is pursuing an Executive MBA at Robert Kennedy College in Switzerland, while also holding certificates and diplomas from institutions such as the George C. Marshall Center and the Diplomatic Academy of Armenia, focusing on international diplomacy and security studies.
