Jeyanath Jeyaratnam

Jeyanath Jeyaratnam is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in various sectors, including public safety and housing. Currently, Jeyanath serves as an Electrical Engineer at the Minnesota Department of Transportation, focusing on maintaining the ARMER system and working on FCC applications for VHF, UHF, and Microwave Hops. Prior experience includes a role as a Quality Assurance Electrical Engineer at the New York City Housing Authority, where responsibilities involved conducting HUD HQS re-inspections and supervising the installation of roof ventilation fans. Jeyanath has also worked as an Electrical Engineering Consultant, managing electrical projects for high-end residential clients, and served as an Electrical Patent Examiner at the US Patent & Trademark Office, examining patents in the networking field. Additional experience includes inspecting electrical equipment for Parsons Brinkerhoff and leading a digital conversion project as an AutoCAD Designer at NAVI Development PVT LTD. Jeyanath holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York, CUNY.
