Megan Narvey

Outreach Conservator at Minnesota Historical Society

Megan Narvey has a diverse background in conservation and outreach roles. Megan most recently worked at the Minnesota Historical Society as an Outreach Conservator. Prior to that, they worked as a Conservator at the National Park Service. Megan also gained experience as an Objects Conservation Intern at the Canadian Conservation Institute and as a Conservation Intern at the Polar Museum, Fitzwilliam Museum, and UBC Museum of Anthropology. Megan also has experience as a Seminar Leader at University College London and as a Collections Assistant at the Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site. Megan began their career as a Preservation Assistant at Gould Library and later worked as a Conservation Intern at the Milwaukee Art Museum.

Megan Narvey completed their education, starting with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Chemistry/Archaeology from Carleton College from 2009 to 2013. Megan then pursued further studies at UCL, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Principles of Conservation from 2013 to 2014. Megan Narvey further expanded their knowledge in the field by completing a Master of Science (MSc) in Conservation for Archaeology and Museums from UCL between 2014 and 2016.
