Jennifer Lastine

Jennifer Lastine, MBA, PMP has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the technology and finance industries. Jennifer has been working at Securian Financial since 2017 and currently serves as the Vice President, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Solutions. In this role, they lead a team of over 300 leaders and associates to drive business value by advancing and maturing technology capabilities. Prior to this, Jennifer worked as the Second Vice President, Enterprise Function Technology at Securian Financial, where they directed and oversaw multiple large-scale enterprise initiatives to modernize people, process, and technology.

Before joining Securian Financial, Jennifer worked at Epic, where they held the position of Senior Director, Implementation and Consulting Services. In this role, they drove external and internal process innovation and change management efforts by overseeing senior leadership sponsorship of ongoing resource and technology initiatives. Prior to this, they served as the Director/Program Director, Implementation Services at Epic, where they coordinated and directed all services and resources for complex, integrated healthcare technology implementations from initiation through optimization.

Jennifer also has experience in education and consulting. Jennifer worked as an Adjunct Instructor in the Business and Professions Department at San Jacinto College, where they presented adult learning material and designed new banking and financial curriculum. Additionally, they worked as a Business Initiatives Consultant at Ostema Consulting LLC, where they designed, marketed, and facilitated professional development programs for individuals and businesses.

Earlier in their career, Jennifer worked at Loyola University Chicago as a Business Manager/Program Coordinator, overseeing fiscal operations and launching website and database systems. Jennifer also held various roles at PNC Bank/PNC Financial Services Group, including Retail Banking Officer, Office Sales and Service Manager, and Licensed Financial Consultant.

Jennifer Lastine has an MBA in International Business Management from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago. Jennifer has obtained various certifications, including a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute, as well as multiple Epic Application Certifications from Epic (EMR software). Jennifer has also received a Certified Trainer certificate from the University of Houston.
