Tom Downs

Tom Downs has extensive experience in the financial industry, primarily focusing on annuities. Tom started their career at Allianz Life in 2006 as an Internal Wholesaler, where they consulted and trained Financial Advisors on the suite of Variable Annuity products. In this role, they also presented to clients alongside the Advisors, demonstrated expertise in all Allianz products, conducted intense research on the financial industry, and provided regular support to field staff partners. During their time at Allianz Life, Tom significantly increased sales in the Wirehouse division. In 2010, Tom joined Securian Financial Group as a Regional Vice President - Individual Annuity.

Tom Downs attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Communications.
