Daniel Gillis is a seasoned political professional with experience in policy research and grassroots organizing. Currently serving as a Senate DFL Researcher for the Minnesota Senate since July 2021, Gillis provides caucus policy advice on jobs, economic development, and labor issues. Previous roles include Legislative Assistant for the Minnesota DFL Party, District Coordinator for the Minnesota Senate, and various positions in campaign and educational settings. Gillis holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, and participated in a semester abroad at Nelson Mandela University.
