Michael Kreun

Michael Kreun currently serves as a State Senator for District 32 in the Minnesota Senate, representing the communities of Blaine, Columbus, Ham Lake, and Lexington since January 2023. In addition, Michael is a co-owner of The Rusty Bumblebee, Blaine's first self-pour taphouse, which features 60 taps for local craft brews, ciders, wine, and other beverages. Michael has a background in law, serving as Corporate Counsel at ECMC Shared Services Company, LLC since July 2019, and has held positions as a School Board Member for Spring Lake Park Schools and as a Board Member for the Coon Creek Watershed District. Previous experience includes working as an attorney and shareholder at Beisel & Dunlevy, P.A., a judicial law clerk for the State of Minnesota's 10th Judicial District, and as a law clerk at CAMRUD, MADDOCK, OLSON & LARSON, LTD. Michael holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of North Dakota School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
