Gwendolyn Schimek-Tischler

Gwen Schimek-Tischler serves as the Director of Graduate Studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato, since February 2022. Prior to this role, Gwen held various positions at Cornell College from June 2011 to January 2022, including Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, where responsibilities included supervising professional staff, managing the student conduct system, and revising policies related to student rights and support. Gwen's experience also encompasses roles at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, Colorado State University, and as a Technical Editor for the Journal of College Student Development. Gwen earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Colorado State University and a Master's in Student Affairs in Higher Education.
