Cheryl Nygaard

Cheryl Nygaard has been working in the Information Technology field for over 20 years. Cheryl started their career as a Systems Specialist with Antea Group, where they provided local network support, deployed and upgraded desktop computers and laptops, and organized and facilitated national LAN administrator conference calls. In 1999, they became the Information Technology Manager for the Minnesota Vikings Football, LLC, where they audited telephone services and systems from multiple vendors, identified and eliminated underused and unnecessary services, and scheduled, coordinated and deployed server updates and preventative maintenance. Cheryl also implemented the company intranet site using Sharepoint and managed operating systems, application patching, backup applications, and antivirus software for desktops, laptops, and servers. In December 2011, Cheryl became the Director of Information Technology for the Minnesota Vikings.

Cheryl Nygaard reports to Steve Poppen, EVP & Chief Business Administration Officer. Matt Freshwater - Information Technology Manager, Eric Davidson - IT & AV Specialist, and Nate Beckstrom - IT Associate report to Cheryl Nygaard.
