Thomas Stavsvick

Thomas Stavsvick has over 20 years of work experience in engineering and software development. Thomas is currently employed as a Software Engineering Manager at Minnetronix, Inc. Starting in December 2021, they oversee the software engineering team.

Prior to their current role, Thomas worked at CommScope from 2014 to 2021. Thomas held various positions during their tenure, including Engineering Manager for FPGA, Hardware and FPGA, and Software. As the Engineering Manager, Thomas managed a team of software developers and facilitated the transition from Waterfall to Agile Scrum methodologies. Thomas focused on DAS development for legacy TE products and new CommScope DAS products after the acquisition of the TE Connectivity BNS division.

From 2010 to 2014, Thomas held positions at TE Connectivity as a Senior Software Systems Engineer and Software Systems Engineer III. Thomas worked on developing embedded software, specifically for the FlexWave Prism family of DAS products. Thomas also created graphical interfaces to streamline the hardware bring-up process.

Earlier in their career, Thomas worked at Arobella Medical as a Senior Electrical Engineer from 2006 to 2010. Thomas led design efforts for ultrasound projects in the medical industry and conducted necessary testing for safety and EMC compliance.

Thomas started their career at Goodrich Sensor Systems in 2002 as a Project Engineer and later worked at Logic Product Development as an Associate Software Engineer from 2001 to 2002.

Thomas Stavsvick completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Minnesota from 1996 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Hill-Murray High School between 1992 and 1996, where no degree or field of study is specified. Additionally, they pursued a Mini-Master in Medical Technology Management at the University of St. Thomas, although no specific start or end years are provided for this program.
