Heleri Melsas

Heleri Melsas has a diverse work experience history. Heleri started their career in 2013 as a Promoter at Baltic Promotions Oü and Magnalabor Oü. In 2014, they worked as a Co-creator and facilitator for a programming workshop at the University of Tartu. Heleri also served as a Supervisor for an online Python course for secondary school students.

In 2015, Heleri worked as a Shop Assistant for the Christmas period at LPP Retail Estonia Oü and later joined RGIS as an Inventory Specialist. Heleri spent two years in this role before moving on to their next position.

In 2017, Heleri joined Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government as a Data Scientist for their MSc Project Placement. Here, they focused on evaluating and improving income modeling for a student loan repayment model, resulting in significant improvements.

In 2018, Heleri joined Proxima as a Data Analyst. Heleri received recognition for their work, including being named Employee of the Month and receiving multiple nominations for the Employee of the Quarter. Their responsibilities at Proxima included daily communication with clients, data extraction and analysis using Excel, VBA, and SQL, as well as creating process guides and assisting with RFQ and RFI templates.

Most recently, in 2019, Heleri joined Mintos as a Business Data Analyst, where they currently hold a role.

Heleri Melsas completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the University of Tartu from 2012 to 2015. Heleri then pursued a Master's degree in Data Science & Analytics at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2016 to 2017.
