Janki focuses her practice on a broad spectrum of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. She has experience conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda and briefs.
Prior to joining Mintz, Janki served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Vickie L. Henry of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, where she conducted research on a variety of legal issues and drafted memoranda and opinions.
While earning her JD, Janki worked as a law clerk in the Office of the General Counsel at Northeastern University and at two Boston-based law firms. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Elspeth B. Cypher of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
In law school, Janki was a teaching assistant for several courses: torts; criminal justice; and race, justice, and reform. She also worked as a research assistant for a criminal justice professor, assisting with a rule of law project. Her activities included volunteering with the Immigrant Justice Clinic and serving as captain of her moot court team in the Domenick L. Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition.
Before law school, Janki worked as a college adviser at a public high school in Boston.
