Rajiv focuses his practice on public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, transactions involving venture capital and emerging companies, and other corporate matters. His experience includes representing issuers and underwriters on a variety of securities transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, and uplistings. In addition to transactional work, he counsels clients on securities compliance matters, ongoing reporting requirements of publicly traded companies, corporate governance best practices, and various other matters affecting publicly-traded companies and their officers and directors.

He also has experience in the alternative investments industry and has advised sponsors and broker-dealers on a variety of private securities offerings for Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Business Development Companies (BDCs), and Delaware Statutory Trust 1031 Exchange offerings, among others.

Rajiv’s professional experience includes working for two boutique securities law firms, a “Big Four” professional services firm and in commercial banking and credit analysis for national financial institutions.

In law school, Rajiv founded and served as editor-in-chief of the American University Sports and Entertainment Law blog and was a senior staff member of the American University Intellectual Property Brief blog. He also received an Exceptional Service Honors award for his pro bono work.
