Luis Daniel Zamudio Salazar

Luis Daniel Zamudio Salazar has a strong background in information security and risk management. Luis Daniel began their career as a Privacy and Security Consultant at Deloitte México in 2014. Luis Daniel then moved on to work as an Information Security Auditor at Gentera from 2014 to 2017. After that, they joined BBVA Bancomer as an Information Security and Systems Auditor, where they quickly rose to the position of Senior Information Security and Systems Auditor. In 2019, they joined Engenium Capital as an Information Security Manager. Currently, they are working at minu, first as the CISO and later taking on the additional role of Risk Manager.

Luis Daniel Zamudio Salazar has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Telematics from the Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria en Ingeniería y Tecnologías Avanzadas, which they obtained in 2013. Luis Daniel then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Information Security from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional from 2013-2015. In 2017, they completed a Diploma in Information Security from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. Currently, they are enrolled in the Universidad Anáhuac, pursuing a Master of Risk Management in Actuarial Science, which they started in 2022.

In terms of certifications, Luis Daniel Zamudio Salazar obtained the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in August 2021, CEH from EC-Council in October 2019, CISM from ISACA in April 2018, CISA from ISACA in November 2017, ITIL v3 Foundations from PEOPLECERT in October 2014, and COBIT v5 Foundations from APMG International in February 2014.
