Fabio Sá has a diverse work experience in the media and sports industry. Fabio started their career as a Commercial Director at Esporte Interativo, where they led a team of 10 Ad Sales Executives and was responsible for the company's main source of revenue. Fabio then joined Turner Broadcasting System as an Ad Sales Manager, overseeing sports-related ad sales and leading a team of Managers and Ad Sales Executives.
In 2016, Fabio joined Minute Media, where they held various roles. Fabio started as the Country Manager for Brazil, setting up the entire operation from scratch and reporting to the company's Global Head of Football. Fabio then became the Regional Manager for 90min in LATAM and later the LATAM Regional Manager for 90MIN & The Players' Tribune. In these roles, they focused on audience growth, partnerships, sales strategies, and relationship management with clients and media partners.
Fabio's role expanded to include international sales and business development at Minute Media. As the Global SVP, International Sales & US Soccer and Latinx BizDev, they were responsible for direct sales and business development in international markets like Europe, APAC, Brazil, and Spanish-speaking Latin America. Fabio also developed Minute Media's Soccer & Latinx businesses in the United States, including audience growth, partnerships, and sales strategies.
Furthermore, Fabio serves as the Executive Sponsor for Mi Gente Latinx ERG at Minute Media, a role they took on in 2022.
Fabio Sá holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic and Economic Business Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Fabio also has a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Publicity from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, completed from 2001 to 2004. In their earlier education, Fabio attended the British School, where they achieved an International Baccalaureate with a GPA of 36/45 from 1986 to 2000. Additionally, Fabio has obtained a certification in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Board from Minute Media in the year 2021. Fabio has also pursued studies in Emotional Intelligence through the Sociedade Brasileira de Inteligência Emocional, completing a course in Lotus.
