Sarah Yu

Sarah Yu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sarah started their career in 2011 as an Administrative Clerk at SoftCom Consulting Inc. From 2015 to 2017, Sarah worked as a Native English Teacher in Hong Kong, where they co-taught with local teachers and organized English-focused events for post-secondary students. In 2018, they joined Green Standards Ltd as a Project Coordinator, eventually transitioning to the role of Operations Manager (Sustainability). At Green Standards, Sarah contributed to the sustainable management of corporate interiors by diverting office furniture from landfill and generating donations to non-profit organizations. In 2021, they joined CDP, initially as a Disclosure Operations Officer and then took on roles such as Cities, States and Regions Lead and Disclosure Operations Manager. Sarah supported the environmental disclosure of numerous cities and states globally. Moreover, Sarah has recently been working at Minviro as a Database Manager.

Sarah Yu completed their Master of Science degree in Environmental Management at The University of Hong Kong from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued an Honours Specialization in Biology at Western University from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Sarah has obtained certifications such as the "Quick Start Guide to SQL" from LinkedIn in December 2022 and the "Advanced Open Water Diver" certification from SSI Scuba Schools International in June 2016. Sarah is also a member of IEMA, although the specific month and year of obtaining this membership are not provided. Sarah holds a SmartServe Certificate from SmartServe® as well.
