Ivica Klanac

Ivica K. has a diverse background in traffic engineering and product management. Ivica'smost recent role was as a Group Product Manager at Miovision starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Cubic | Trafficware from 2016 to 2023, holding various roles including Solutions Architect, Product Specialist, and System Engineer. During their time at Cubic | Trafficware, they were responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and support of traffic control systems, configuration and support of traffic signal controllers, and leading projects related to connected vehicles. Before joining Cubic | Trafficware, Ivica K. worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Florida Atlantic University from 2015 to 2016, where they led research projects focused on traffic light controllers and intersection optimization. Prior to that, they were the Head of Traffic Department at Dynniq Mobility from 2014 to 2015, where they worked on projects related to traffic controller programming, implementation, and support. Ivica also gained experience as a Traffic Engineer at Imtech Traffic & Infra from 2012 to 2014. Ivica K. has pursued a diverse education in the field of engineering. Ivica began their academic journey at the Zadar Technical School from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Electrician studies. Following this, Ivica attended the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Intelligent Transportation Systems and Logistics from 2005 to 2009. Later, from 2010 to 2012, Ivica pursued a Master's degree in Intelligent Transportation Systems in the same faculty. Lastly, they enrolled in Florida Atlantic University from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
