Johan Hedlund

Johan Hedlund has extensive work experience in various roles within the engineering and technology industry. Johan is currently working at Mips as the CTO, where they have been since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Product Development at Mips from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining Mips, Johan worked at FLIR Systems for a significant portion of their career. Johan held several leadership positions, including Director of Hardware Development from 2020 to 2022, Director of Industrial Design and Mechanical Systems from 2017 to 2020, Director of Camera Development from 2009 to 2017, Manager of Mechanical Design from 2008 to 2009, and Mechanical Design Engineer from 2005 to 2008. At FLIR Systems, Johan managed project portfolios, set up processes and tools for R&D, and directed product development teams.

Prior to FLIR Systems, Johan worked at Gesab Engineering AB as a Group Manager from 1999 to 2005 and at Collins & Aikman as a Project Manager from 1997 to 1999.
