Ana Maria Lobos

UX Researcher at MiQ

Ana Maria Lobos, PhD, has a diverse work background. Ana Maria is currently working as a UX Researcher at MiQ, a position they started in May 2022. Prior to this, Ana Maria held various roles at the University of Kent, starting in September 2016. These roles included being a Research Fellow at the Conflict Analysis Research Centre (CARC) and a PhD Candidate and Associate Lecturer. Ana Maria also volunteered as a Lead UX Researcher at Hack for LA from February 2022 to July 2022. In addition, they worked as a Data Coach at Multiverse from April 2021 to May 2022. Previously, Ana Maria held positions at the University of Miami as a Research Assistant and Doctoral Student from September 2011 to December 2016, and at Florida International University as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant from January 2009 to August 2011. Ana Maria also worked as a Quality Improvement Analyst at Spectrum Programs, Inc/Miami Behavioral Health Center from February 2010 to December 2010.

Ana Maria Lobos, PhD completed their education in a progressive manner, starting with their associate degree in Music from Broward College in 2005. Ana Maria then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University, which they completed in 2008. After that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education - Clinical Mental Health from Florida International University in 2011. Finally, Ana Maria Lobos completed their academic journey by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Comparative Politics from the University of Kent in 2021.
