Jia Yu Low has a diverse work experience, spanning over 10 years. Jia Yu started in 2011 as a Planning and Execution Committee member for nEbO Project Cranes for Japan Disaster, where they successfully planned and executed a voluntary crane-folding project to raise funds for Japan's earthquake and tsunami relief. In 2011, they also worked as a Business Matchmaker at Socialwalk Business Matching, liaising with buyers and sellers to find suitable matches during trade shows.

From 2012 to 2013, Jia Yu worked as a Temporary Administrative Assistant at ETHOZ Group Ltd and SilkAir, respectively. In these roles, they handled administrative tasks and was responsible for document compilation and filing.

In 2014, Jia Yu joined the Agency for Integrated Care (Singapore) as an Executive, where they promoted integrated care by managing various training, engagement, and outreach activities. Jia Yu was also involved in public health education and research promotion. Jia Yu continued in this role until 2017, after which they joined the National University Health System as an Executive. In 2018, Jia Yu took on the role of Digital Marketer (Pro Bono) at General Assembly, where they focused on enabling the discovery of knowledge and skills for making informed marketing decisions. Jia Yu worked on a pro bono project for Minerra, a B2B consultancy provider, to develop corporate training courses.

From 2018 to 2020, Jia Yu worked at Zenith as a Media Planner and Senior Media Planner. Jia Yu'sresponsibilities included integrated media planning and execution for various brands such as GlaxoSmithKline, Kering, and COTY.

In 2020, Jia Yu joined Mindshare as a Senior Digital Executive, where they worked on digital campaigns for IBM. Jia Yu later took on the role of Digital Manager, leading social and programmatic operations in APAC for IBM's B2B space.

Jia Yu's most recent position is at MiQ, where they work as a Programmatic Trader starting in 2023.
