Umang Vashishtha

Umang Vashishtha has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 2014, Umang worked as an Associate Analyst at Progressive Digital Media Group, where they conducted secondary research, performed SWOT analysis, and provided training on the mining industry. In 2016, Umang joined MarketsandMarkets as a Market Analyst/Consultant, responsible for executing market research and consulting projects. They also wrote research studies and decided on market topics to be researched. From 2018 to 2021, Umang worked as a Senior Strategy Consultant at Francorp, Inc., preparing GO-TO-Market strategies for domestic and international clients/brands and conducting market analyses and feasibility studies. In 2021, Umang held the position of Team Lead at Allied Analytics before becoming an Analytics Consultant (Project Manager) at Decision Point Analytics in November of the same year. Umang's work there involved managing analytics projects. Currently, Umang holds the position of Engagement Manager at MiQ, starting in April 2023.

Umang Vashishtha completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Invertis University between 2007 and 2011. Following this, Umang pursued a Post Graduate Program in Marketing-Operations (Dual) from ICFAI Business School Pune (IBS Pune) from 2012 to 2014. Umang then enrolled in an Executive Program in Business Analytics at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore in 2019 and completed it in 2020.

In terms of additional certifications, Umang obtained the following: Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud: 1 Projects, Boards, and Issues from LinkedIn in July 2023, Customer Analytics from The Wharton School in July 2023, Advanced Excel from Skill Nation in May 2022, Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in April 2022, Integrated Program in Business Analytics from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore in October 2020, SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 from SAS in July 2015, and AMCAT Certified Software Engineer - IT Services from Aspiring Minds in September 2014.
