Zach Sweeney

Zach Sweeney has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Zach'smost recent role is as a Global Sourcer at MiQ, where they began in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Objective Paradigm from June 2019 to October 2021 as a Strategic Sourcing Advisor.

Zach also has experience at Origami Risk, where they held two roles. From August 2020 to March 2021, they were a Research & Sourcing Specialist, tasked with finding candidates for various roles within Sales, Product, Technology, Engineering, Professional Services, and IT. Zach tackled roles related to P&C Insurance, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS). In their earlier role at Origami Risk, from December 2019 to March 2020, Zach was a Research and Sourcing Specialist, fully integrated with the HR department on site. Zach worked on challenging and non-traditional roles specific to the SaaS risk management industry, sourcing candidates and conducting interviews.

Before joining Origami Risk, Zach worked at Objective Paradigm for a short period. From October to November 2019, they were a Research and Sourcing Specialist at Chicago Research Center, Inc., where they assisted the VP in finding a Psychometrician/Clinical Research Coordinator. Zach conducted research on the Chicago market for candidate prospecting and salary insights.

During their time at Objective Paradigm, Zach also worked as a Research and Sourcing Specialist at AST LLC from August to October 2019. In this client-facing role, they helped identify qualified Oracle Cloud professionals across various SaaS applications. Zach was responsible for initial outreach and messaging to generate interest in open positions at AST. Additionally, they assisted with meeting coordination, calendar management, job market analysis, and reporting.

Zach's earliest work experience was as an Intern - Public History at the Museum of Missouri Military History from January to August 2018. Zach primarily focused on preserving, cataloging, researching, and displaying donated and acquired artifacts. Zach also contributed to establishing the museum's social media presence.

Zach Sweeney attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2012 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in History.
