Ranyodh Singh

Ranyodh Singh has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Ranyodh started their career as a Junior Programmer at the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, where they debugged existing code and added new functionality to web-based software products. Ranyodh then worked as a Web Developer at Canoe, where they created and maintained a custom Content Management System for newspapers and magazine websites. At Canadian Tire Corporation, they developed a web-based Employee Health & Management System and created custom user controls for reusability.

Ranyodh then joined Oxford Properties Group as a Web Developer, where they created and maintained web-based applications and acted as the lead developer for a framework containing reusable custom controls. Ranyodh also worked at Method:CRM, where they worked on a web-based customizable CRM software and collaborated in an agile (SCRUM) environment.

Ranyodh then joined shomi™ as an Engineer, working on breaking down a monolithic service into microservices to create a more resilient and scalable backend platform. Ranyodh also worked as a Backend Developer at Flybits. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Carta, where they gained experience in developing software solutions. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Engineer at Mirantis.

Ranyodh Singh received a High School Diploma in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates from Police DAV Public School in 2003. Ranyodh then pursued a degree in Computer Programming at Georgian College from 2003 to 2005. Later, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne between 2006 and 2008.
