Dan Thompson

Dan Thompson has over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Dan currently serves as the Vice President of Sales at Mirati Therapeutics, where they are responsible for designing and building the KRAS commercial oncology sales team. Prior to Mirati Therapeutics, Dan worked at Kite Pharma as the Executive Director of Cellular Therapy, where they led the national execution of the sales strategy for their CAR-T therapies. Dan also held the role of Regional Account Director at Kite Pharma. Before Kite Pharma, Dan worked at Medivation as an Area Business Manager, where they developed sales strategies and achieved sales objectives. Dan also served as the Director of Sales & Sales Operations at Metagenics, where they built a new sales franchise. Dan began their career at Johnson & Johnson in various roles, including Sr. Regional Business Director and Sales Operations Manager. Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated leadership in sales, team management, and strategy development.

Dan Thompson received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Marketing from Oregon State University, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Mountain View High School from 1992 to 1995.
