Ronald Shazer

Ronald Shazer has a comprehensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Ronald most recently served as the Vice President of Clinical Development at Mirati Therapeutics since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Executive Medical Director at Mirati Therapeutics from May 2019 to July 2022.

Before joining Mirati Therapeutics, Ronald worked as the Chief Medical Officer at Denovo Biopharma from December 2017 to May 2019. Ronald also held the position of SVP & Chief Medical Officer at Inspyr Therapeutics from August 2016 to January 2018.

Ronald Shazer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UC San Diego, where they studied from 1991 to 1993. Ronald then pursued their medical education at New York Medical College, earning an MD degree between 1997 and 2001. Later, they attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2005 to 2007, obtaining an MBA with a focus on Business.
