Ana Vasileva

Ana Vasileva, PhD, currently serves as the VP of Translational Research and Senior Scientific Director at Mirimus, alongside holding the position of Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center since May 2019. With extensive experience in scientific roles, Ana has contributed as a Pharmaceutical Consultant at MedInContext and previously worked as a Senior Staff Scientist at New York Genome Center and an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University. Earlier roles include Instructor and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Scientific Advisor at Forest Laboratories. Ana's academic foundation is solidified with a PhD in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology from the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and Jawaharlal Nehru University, as well as additional qualifications in clinical research and biopharmaceutical development.
