Brent Barkman

Brent Barkman is an accomplished product and engineering leader with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as the Head of Product for Core Experience at Miro since December 2024, Brent also holds the position of Limited Partner at Everywhere Ventures since February 2020. Previously, Brent worked as a Senior Principal Product Manager at Atlassian for a brief period in 2024, and as the Founder & CEO of KATA from March 2021 to April 2024, focusing on creating an operating system for engineering organizations. Between 2014 and 2020, Brent was a Software Engineering Manager at Snapchat, leading the Snap Games engineering team. Earlier roles included various positions at Amazon as a Software Development Manager and Software Development Engineer, as well as experience at IBM and Imaginet. Brent holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba.
