Irene Lorenzelli

Irene Lorenzelli has been in the professional field since 2014. Irene began their career as an Intern for the Cultural Association Bologna-Bruxelles A/R, where they promoted Belgium in Italy through language courses, cultural events, conferences, and tastings of typical products. In 2017, they were an Intern in the Public Affairs Section of the Embassy of Canada | Ambassade du Canada. That same year, they also worked as an Interpreter for the dialogue between Prof. Olivier Roy and Valerio Varesi at La casa dei pensieri in Bologna. In 2018, they were a Hostess for FADOI 2018, Exposanità 2018, and Cosmoprof 2018 with COOPIT Cooperativa Interpreti e Traduttori. Irene also worked as a Back Office Planner Intern for The Outnet at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP. In 2019, they worked as a Back Office Planner for THE OUTNET and a Back Office Operations for Intersport Italia. Currently, they are an Operations Specialist for MIRTA.

Irene Lorenzelli has a diverse educational background. Irene attended Liceo Linguistico dell'Istituto Superiore “M. Montessori – L. da Vinci”, Porretta Terme from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained their Diploma di scuola media superiore. Irene then attended Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 2011 to 2014, where they completed their degree in Lingue e letterature straniere moderne, with a focus in Lingue e letterature, traduzione e interpretazione. In 2016, they attended Université Paris-Sorbonne, where they obtained their Master LLCE in traduction française, linguistique française et linguistique anglaise. Irene also attended Aix-Marseille University in 2012 and 2013, where they completed their degree in Langues, littératures et civilisations étrangères, with a focus in Arts, Lettres, Langues et Sciences Humaines. In 2015, they returned to Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where they completed their degree in Language, society and communication, with a focus in Lingue e letterature, traduzione e interpretazione. Additionally, they have completed several certifications, including Speexx English CEFR Level C1.1 from Speexx (2021), Presentation Skills from Fondazione Aldini Valeriani (2020), Public Speaking from Fondazione Aldini Valeriani (2020), Negotiation Skills from LinkedIn (2020), Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn (2020), and IELTS Overall 7 from British Council (2016). Irene also completed two cultural exchanges, one at Gymnasium Osterholz- Scharmbeck, Osterholz-Scharmbeck (Germania) in 2009 and one at Lycée Saint Joseph, Oliulle, France, Oliulle (Francia) in 2008.
