Ciro Di Lanno has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2012, they were a Researcher for an MSc Thesis Project at the Max Delbrück Center, where they conducted a research project to increase efficiency in care of genetic diseases through DNA manipulation. In 2014, they held two roles: Senior Associate at The Boston Consulting Group, where they designed and conducted extensive analyses, researches and plans to enable executive decision-making; and Risk Analyst at UniCredit, where they built quantitative models to measure the credit risk of the Bank portfolio. In 2017, they were an Investor at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Impact Fund, where they screened 300+ start-ups, talked with 20+ entrepreneurs, and mentored by 3 professional investors. In 2018, they were a Growth and Marketing MBA Summer Intern at Stellares. Finally, in 2019, they became a Co-Founder of MIRTA, a platform for high-end brands and retailers to sell and buy wholesale.

Ciro Di Lanno has a diverse educational background. From 2007 to 2013, they studied Theoretical Physics at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. Ciro then pursued a Master in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management at Università Bocconi from 2013 to 2014. Ciro most recently graduated from Stanford University Graduate School of Business with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2019.
