Sakila Mahmood has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of talent management, organization development, and human resources. Sakila is currently serving as the Head of Succession Development and Leadership at MISC Berhad Official. Prior to this, they worked as the Lead for Talent Management Development & Learning at Sutherland from 2018 to 2020. Sakila also held the position of Manager for Talent Management & Organization Development at INCEIF, The Global University of Islamic Finance from 2015 to 2018. Furthermore, Sakila worked as a Specialist for Talent Management and Organization Development at Maxis from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they were the Manager for Talent Management, Learning & Culture at Accenture Bangladesh from 2010 to 2013. Sakila also has experience working at Telenor as a Manager for HR Programme Office and at Grameenphone Ltd as a Customer Experience Manager and a Customer Manager for Collection and Billing Service. Sakila began their career as an HR Generelist at Beximco Textile Division Ltd.

Sakila Mahmood completed an MBA with a focus in Marketing from North South University between 2007 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended Holy Cross College in Bangladesh. Sakila also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English Literature. In terms of additional certifications, Sakila obtained various qualifications such as P. A. P. I 3 Authorised Certified User from Talogy in 2023, Saville Consulting Wave Platform from People Psyence in 2016, and Talent Management Professional from Liquid Learning in 2014. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Competence Development for Business, HR as Strategic Business Partner, Employer Branding, and Recruitment & Selection for Senior Leadership Tier.
