Manuel Ochoa

Manuel Ochoa has a long history of work experience in the engineering and scientific fields. In 2021, they began working as a Systems Engineering Manager, Lead Systems Engineer, and Sr. Systems Engineer at Miso Robotics. In 2018, they founded Ochoa Consulting, providing product development services and technological innovation advice to early stage companies. In 2017, they were a Technical Advisor at MedNoxa Inc. and a Sr. Scientist & Principal Investigator at SmartGait LLC. From 2009 to 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher, Graduate Research Assistant, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University. In 2008, they were a Computer Vision Intern and Avionics Section Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In 2007, they were an Avionics Section Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Manuel Ochoa obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Caltech between 2005 and 2009. Manuel then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MSECE) from Purdue University between 2009 and 2012. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microelectronics & Nanotechnology from Purdue University between 2012 and 2016.
